Natasha looked around the bar, noticing how many people were watching her. It made her nervous because she knew the First Order was looking for her, determined to find her before she could possibly find the Resistance. She'd gone directly to Maz's, knowing as well that the woman was her best chance at getting away. She hadn't gotten away unscathed though. She'd been shot and she was pretty badly injured, but she did her best to hide it in the way she carried herself.

Instead of asking too many questions Maz had just pointed to a man that she explained would help get Natasha off planet and far away, all she had to do was ask. So she started over, fighting the urge to limp. She knew she looked pretty battered up, but she could pretend it was nothing as she sat down beside the man, shifting the hood covering her head a bit which flashed her red hair, one of the biggest things she was trying to hide. "Are you looking for work?"

She looked around before looking at him again. "I need off planet and as far away as possible. I need to get away from anyone who could report back to the First Order and Maz said you're my best bet."

He just nodded, though the smile was still in place, only barely bitten back, "Yeah, that was kind of my point."

It had been enough of a mess with him doing it, and he could actually see what he was doing.

She shrugged, tilting her head as she looked at him. "You know, when we get where we're going, you should get some rest. And let me find a way to repay you for everything."

"That's what making planetfall is for, rest, regroup, send messages that need to be sent so we know where to go next."

He had a general idea of where the Resistance had been keeping themselves, but knew that he was going to need specifics, if he could get them, or at the very least, get in contact with Han so that they could meet somewhere and have Han take her the rest of the way.

She nodded, smiling before getting settled again, watching him and then just looking out the viewing port. "It'll be nice just getting away from them. I know I don't...exactly deserve to be trusted after everything I've done, but I can't let them continue."

He shook his head a little, "It's alright, I... I get that." He shrugged then, "Not going to lie, not everyone's going to believe you, but the General will, and that's what matters."

He knew his mother would believe her even if it was Han that brought her in and not Ben himself, she was a good judge of people, or at least whether or not they were lying about something, and the redhead's story rang true to Ben on multiple levels, he knew it would be the same for his mother.

"I just wish you were coming with me. I feel...safe with you. Which is strange. I haven't felt safe with someone in a very long time." She explained before leaning back in her seat, letting her head rest back against it.

"I'd love to be able to take you all the way there, but me and the Resistance... it's complicated." It wasn't even the Resistance as a whole, it really was just his mother and the fact that he wasn't yet ready to reconcile with her.

He knew he should, of course, she wasn't getting any younger, but he couldn't do so yet.

She tilted her head to look at him, studying his face before nodding. "I won't push, but I hope this isn't the last time I see you. Its a rare thing for me to feel safe with someone other than myself. I doubt even the Resistance will make me feel truly safe, but I have to give them this information. I could save a lot of innocent lives." She said softly, turning her head back.

"You go in with Han and you leave with Han, he'll make sure you cross my path again." He replied, giving a small, mostly-tired smile.

"And even if you don't, I'm pretty sure we'll run into each other again, galaxy isn't that big."

"Would you want to run into me again? Knowing the kind of trouble I could be?" She asked him, returning his smile with a small one of her own. Then she gave a small snort, shaking her head.

"Its big enough."

"Might be." He replied, "But I think your trouble and my trouble are going to align more than we like."

He gave an easy shrug, "Might as well stick together where we can, make it easier for the trouble to get to us and not have to go through other people to do it."

"Well, if it does...at least I know I'll have someone I can definitely trust on my side." She said as she smiled at him before nodding. "Thank you, Ben."

"Yeah. And you say that without having actually seen me in action. I'm impressed."

He was, a little, but at the same time he knew she'd seen enough, and mostly he was surprised to find that he trusted her as well, at least a little.

"I don't know. Its just a feeling I have." She said, shrugging a shoulder before reaching over and squeezing his arm lightly. "Call it an instinct."

"It's a good instinct." He nodded once before cocking his head towards the cockpit, "C'mon up, have a seat, we'll be making our final approach pretty soon."

She nodded before getting up and walking up to the cockpit, taking a seat next to him. "I just hope they'll listen to me. I do have...a reputation." She said softly, tilting her head. "Happens when you're an assassin."

"The general will listen, I can guarantee that much." Something that had solid evidence to back it up was definitely something she'd pay attention to, unlike dreams that someone was sure were real, but she could brush off as simply being dreams.

She believed him so she nodded, smiling. "Alright. Once I've given them all the information I have...if you'd be okay with it, I'm going to ask Han to help me find you again. If you wouldn't mind having someone along."

That got another smile, "Don't mind at all, I'm not really that hard to find, usually. You might not even need his help, but since he's got a direct line to find me, he's still your best bet."

"Well just in case I'll ask him to help me. That way I know for sure I'll find you afterwards." She smiled back at him, tilting her head before blushing a bit and looking away.

"Well, you're still stuck with me for another few hours if nothing else. This is just a stopover."

Refuel, get supplies, see if he could contact either of his parents before heading further along towards D'Qar.

"You won't hear any complaints out of me." She teased at that, a smile on her face there before stretching a bit. "Maybe we could get something to eat. To bring along I mean. A warm meal."

"Could find someplace to eat here, if you like, refuel will take that long at least."

And coming back from dinner to a ship that was ready to go would be more entertaining, he was sure, than running off to get something and running back with it to leave as quickly as possible.

She thought about that for a moment, tilting her head before nodding. "That would be nice, but we would definitely have to be discreet. We don't want anyone recognizing me and reporting it to the Order." She said before shaking her head a bit. "I don't have any weapons on my except a blaster and that won't do if they send any more Knights after me."

"You're with me, I doubt anyone's going to notice." Because even despite everything, Ben was good at going unnoticed when he wanted to, and the nondescript clothing helped with that more than people realized.

"We can even just get something at a cart and eat it in the park." If eating while walking, or sitting on one of the park benches would help her be more at ease than finding an actual restaurant, he was fine with that as well.
